They almost look like fallen leaves!
They are a very interesting color--- a pale lemon?
That's a lot of butterflies all together. At first I thought they were leaves.

I have seen butterflies like this before, but not this year. It has probably been too hot and dry. They are lovely creatures.
I too thought they were leaves at first. :)
I don't think I've ever seen so many in one place at the same time before ... great photograph.
