Old barn

In my opinion, there is something so appealing about a barn/snow scene. I shot this photo over the weekend and decided to use it for the new barn meme started by Tricia over at the Bluff Area Daily blog....see her there if you want to join or just check out the submissions.

Rose, I'm so sorry, but I had to delete the linky code just now cuz it was giving all kinds of trouble, so I had to go back & re-enter your link... I'm so sorry!

Ok, I got you added in & it took yours w/ no problem!

You're right, there really IS something about a barn/snow scene... I love the snow, though I don't really like for it to stick around too long, cuz it always turns to ice around here. But falling snow? It's BEAUTIFUL! Great shot & it looks like it's really coming down in this pic... WoW!

Super shot, Rose. This is one that you could hang anywhere. It looks so forlorn and cold out there!

Brrrrr!! That is what this barnis saying. Come on in and I will warm you--snuggle down in the hay. I do wonder what this old timer would say. MB

Hi Rose. Re your comment on Cedar Key: I think the name of the shop, Barefoot Artist is a reference to the kind of laid-back life some people live on this little island...when it's hot during the summer, people (especially) kids tend to go around barefoot.

Like we used to do when we were kids!

This is a fine barn picture. I like the deep, cold feeling the image has. Very appealing shot.
