Weekend snow

A heavy wet snow blankets our landscape around here....things previously ugly are made new and beautiful.

Beautiful. A good snowfall does make everything fresh and new again. We have had two good snowfalls but unfortunately the rain came and now things are really dreary looking.

I like the way snow "caps" everything and makes it a brand new image to shoot. Fine shot of this fence and the way its decorated with snow.

I will admit that a new snowfall is very beautiful. But I don't much like it when it melts and turns to slush!

Super photo, though, Rose! It makes real the phrase, "the dead of winter." I'll bet when all that snow fell it was whiteout conditions!
