Another old barn...

This is another old barn at the farm shown in the previous two posts...notice the horses. They thought I was bringing them something, or coming to see them. They were very interested in me.
I wish they had been closer to the road, till I could have at least rubbed their velvety noses.

This has been my entry for the Bluff Area Daily Barn Charm meme...hope to see you there.

The horses look really healthy but their habitat could use a few repairs. :)
The grasses in the foreground soften the view and give it a more serene feel. Nicely done Rose.

Nice capture--I love seeing horses and ponies.

I am thrilled with my new grandson.

I bet the horses wished you were closer to the fence so you could give them some yummy treats!

Cool old barn, Rose. Obviously it's still being used, which is great.

It's good to see this old barn is still being used. You can see the hay in the upper openings so it must at least be dry and would also get the horses out of the weather.

When you mentioned the horses in the first photo, I, too wondered if they were underfed or not cared for - but they look pretty good. The barn might fall down anytime, though!

A couple of great shots, Rose!

Nice shots, Rose. I think the horses are in better shape than their home. ;)

Wonderful old almost collapsing barn. You could hear the whispers if you went inside. the horses look good too.

the old farmhouse on the previous post looks a bit sad and lost in time. We have some like that out here. MB

A great looking old barn. I like the deep colors in the wide of the barn and the roof that seems to be in dire need of repair. Nice barn post!

The barn structure must be stronger than it looks...to hold hay and to shelter horses. I would hope so, anyway. Great shots.

Love the horses. I always want to stop and take photos of horses when I see them. I get to drive by one field all the time that has 2 horses and a donkey.
