And we have take-off!

The geese are really moving through area now...almost any time I am outside, I hear geese overhead. I thought I would run to the strip pits this evening...there were some there on a couple of the ponds, but these were taking off from a cornfield on over in Illinois.

A fine capture of these birds in flight. I like how much detail you were able to capture while the varied wing positions suggest action and flight. Well done.

None of the migrants have gotten here yet but they usually arrive in late February! I'll be looking for them.

Nice! The Canada Geese are a sure sign of spring here, but it's going to take them awhile to make it this far north.
