More barns from Northern Indiana

I thought for this week I would show more barns from .our drives around Shipshewana, and Howe, Indiana...
as you can see, some of them are drive-by shots...
I think most of them are from Amish farms.
This last one is not, however. I know it was south a little and east of Howe, Indiana.
I would love to have been able to take several different views of these barns but was lucky to get the single view of most of them.

This is my entry for Tricia's Barn Charm meme...hope to see you there.

I like that windmill in the first one and the really rustic look of the last one.
My daughter had a best friend in high school whose last name was Baird. :)

Red seems to be a popular colour! The silos look skinnier than the ones I'm used to seeing.

Never seen a silo covered with green like that! Your shots are so good, I really can't tell which are the drive by. They all look nicely framed and none look blurry or hurried.

This is a great collection!! Barns are like snowflakes, no two are the same. My dream is to find an antique motorcycle inside one.

I'm fortunate to have a *lot* of barns near my home, but many of them are not really accessible and you can't just stop by the side of the road.

A great looking series of barns. Your post shows such a wide variety of styles. I think these designs are impressive and out-of-the-ordinary compared to barns around here. Well done!

I like them all, Rose. Great working barns except maybe for the Baird Barn. Picturesque none the less. MB

Fabulous barns! I really like that last one. :-)

Thanks for your comments about Frank. Most of our kitties are getting older now, and it's never easy. I'm sorry about your kitty too.

These are some great old barns. I love the windmill in the first shot, and the composition of the 4th shot is awesome.

I noticed up north a lot of those barns with the white arches painted on the doors. Don't see that much down here. They caught my eye.
