Barn Charm time!

For this week's barn charm, I am showing a duke's mixture...but they are all from my little drive last week.
These first two shots of the same barn are one I have never seen before...think I was on a totally new to me road...
Then the barn below, I have a shot of from a different season and I was approaching from a different direction...
and the barn below, is one new to me. I really don't remember ever seeing it before...
it is a big barn...looks like a lot of square feet under that roof.
What caught my eye is the real small door hanging open right behind that light...one those things that make me wonder why there and why that size?

Join me at Tricia's Barn Charm.

All are charming but I especially love the last barn with peeling white paint and rusting metal roof. The slope of the roof is so attractive!

Barn 1 ~ looks like a face...check it out and see if you see it, too.Wonder what is in the window.
Barn 2 ~ This barn looks more like the barns in our area. It looks as if it is not in use at the moment.
Barn 3 ~ This is a big one with lots of roofing which needs to be painted. You could make it into a fabulous home.
Barn 4~A pretty quirky one. I really like it with its funky windows and that door. You never now what you ae gonna find when you really start looking at these older structures. genie

Each one has so much personality! I, too, think that little door is curious.

You found such a nice bunch of barns! I can't pick a favorite. I'm glad you pointed out the little door. I would have missed it.

I like the last one best - for all those odd shaped doors and windows, too!

These really look like primitive art.

A fine collection of barn shots. You have some big ones today. That bottom one does have strange doors and windows. These always make me wonder about the arrangement inside.

ack--I love these barns! That last one has so much character! Not just the small, oddly placed door, but the random window on the right side, the series of windows in the middle.. I always wonder what stories these old barns could tell.
