Just a couple shots for Friday's fences....an old fence will add interest to a lot of shots. Above is trumpet vine.

I want to go back and examine these....don't ask what is under the trumpet vine because I don't know. I have looked at my original photos and cannot tell. It just looks like trumpet vine trees but it cannot be.
Anyway, click them to enlarge them...they are my entry for
Friday's Fences.

Top pic is like a bouquet.
interesting how they've grown like that. maybe livestock trimmed the leaves off? :)
What a great photo. Love the quiet setting.
A vine always adds a bit of interest to a fence!
I say the same as Kathy...vines or flowers add charm to an old fence!
Very nice
Unusual and lovely...I want to go down this road.
I like your fence photos, even if you can't explain everything about them!
Sky & Fence
looks like it is quite dry out there now.

i love that first shot of the fence post, really pretty.
trumpet vine. i don't believe i realized that was what i was looking at... now i know. gorgeous. (:
Fine fence shots. I like the view down the fence with the trumpet vine. It sure looks like a tree. Maybe someone will have an answer.
It sure does look like trumpet trees... maybe a new trumpet vine species? Maybe they haven't been mowed in sooo long that they grew into trees? What if they get huge like other trees & great big trumpets grow on it?! LoL! =)
You really must go back Rose and see just how this occured. It's certainly unique. I like that kind of fence, always have. It's the kind that surrounded my grandparent's yard when I was growing up.
Beautiful photos, great fence. I love that vine.
Dont ya just love it when nature takes over! Richard
Very pretty!
Looks like a great place to have a little country stroll when it's not so hot. And thanks for the plant ID-I've seen these bright trumpet vines growing wild but never knew what they are.
The fence will be beautiful at the end of summer with all the orange trumpets hanging over it.
