A hodge-podge for Barn Charm

Someone posted a barn that was built similar to this 2 or 3 weeks ago.  Only the one they posted was in wonderful shape.....just a beauty.  But it immediately made me this of this old one.  So I wanted to post it...these are never before posted photos of it, but I have posted other photos of it.
I have been watching it for several years now....just a few more boards are missing.  I really do wonder just how long it can continue to stand.

These two photos were from our drive yesterday.  I love the barn above, have passed it a million times, and think I have only attempted to shoot it one other time.  I just love its gambrel roof.  It isn't far from here, but not a real good place to pull off the road so just got this drive by shot.  You can see that the fence is sort of blurry...we were going at least 55-60 mph.

This is one I had seen a few times before...it is on a back road so we did pause as I took the photo.  This is through the windshield.

the first one's missing a few teeth in its grin. poor old thing. the white one is such a pretty one! and the last reminds me of some of the structures around here.

These barns are very charming!!!

I am in love with the last one. I have never seen yet white and red barns. Very beautiful and very unique!!! And very festive!!!

Beautiful photo's! You are right, I wonder how long the top barn can hang on. It surely is pretty!

Great 'hodge podge'! The third one is my favorite. You did quite well for passing it at that mph!
The first ol' gal may be missing a few teeth as one commenter said, but she's still 'holding her own'.:>)

You got some great shots, especially for drive by shooting! They are all charming in their own way.

I hope that old barn hangs on for a few more years. It needs some TLC, but it has a lot of character.

These are great captures, Rose! It's amazing how they continue to remain upright for so long.

I've got a few I've been "watching" for a couple of years, too. One of these days (!) I will have to post them.

The first barn really is falling apart but it makes a great photo op. I like the gambrel roof on the second barn too. Too bad the shed roof on the third barn is in such bad shape.

I like the shape of the first one and imagine it was a lovely old girl at one time.
I think they should fix the roof pretty soon on the second one. A tarp is good short term.
I love the last one! The red and white paint, the weathered barn doors and the lightning rods make it charming for me!
If it were mine I just couldn't let that lean-to roof keep falling in. :(

The first barn is pretty decrepit! Lovely photos!

Love the dark barn wood on the 1st one & I'd really like to get inside & explore it... altho, I'd be scared to due to it's rough condition! =0

Thanks a bunch for joining, Rose! =)

Great barn finds Rose...Wish I could have the wood from the top barn to make my own barn with :)

Each barn has its own unique charm. Which I find to be a testament to everything is has provided in its past to the whimsy of onlookers and photographers today.

Nice trio of barns in varying conditions! I love the big white barn.

All of these are very good barn shots, Rose. That first one can't last much longer. I like the drive-by shot which is very good in spite of the speed. Good through-the-windshield shot too.

they are all wonderful in their own way!

It is so sad to see any barn in that shape but then again it is beautiful in it's own way. You do wonder sometimes how it can stay standing and then 'whoosh' down it comes. MB

And, what a nice hodge-podge it is! They each have their own character. . .

Great shots of these barns, even the drive by one. That poor roof on the lean-to attached to the last barn...its a wonder it doesn't just fall in.
