A fence from the past...

This is not the greatest image...it is a scanned version of one taken in 1995!  From Cade's Cove in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

We've often enjoyed visiting this house in the cove. This is a good picture of the house (and fence).

This house looks very well kept. I would LOVE a porch like that! We have no porches.

Such an old-fashioned fence to go with this house--and so right for this part of TN. Great vistas on this drive.

I don't mind scanned photos. Sometimes I think my 35mm shots have more soul.

Lovely old house and fence. I wonder if it is still there?

The house appears freshly painted - I'm just wondering if those are slates on the roof

Nice old fence but the house looks new. A well done paint job I guess. Thanks for showing.

I like the house too. I do like old wooden fences too--like a picket fence. MB

Cades Cove is a special place back in times.

I love houses like that - I would love to have a big verandah (I think that is what they are called) where you could sit in a rocking chair and watch the world go by :))
