Great Blue Heron

I went fishing at Mansfield, Indiana the other evening...almost the whole time I was fishing this Great Blue Heron was up the creek at the base of the dam.  I was there for over an hour and I did not see him catch anything...and neither did I for that matter.  Finally, he flew up to this building that was just behind me about 30-40 feet.  I definitely got the feeling I was in his fishing spot, so I eased back to the Rav4, got my camera and snapped a few pics and left him in peace after a few minutes.

Great shot! I haven't seen many herons this summer. Haven't seen much of anything of interest. I guess I'm not looking hard enough.
