Cardinal

At least when we have snow on the ground, I have opportunities galore to take photos of birds.

I miss seeing Cardinals I am too far west. I had one that visited my bird feeder daily when we lived in eastern South Dakota but not here.

Our beautiful state bird! You can see easily why the founding fathers would choose this great bird that we enjoy so much....especially in the winter!
