They were all taken in East Tennessee. We were on a drive and back where most roads were wide enough for only one car. We had no idea where we were most of the time. I think we finally just happened to come across a better road.

Great old barns - so sad to see them falling down, and the stories they have to tell must be wonderful.

A few more storms like the one we had yesterday and a lot of places around here will start looking like those barns. :-)
Some beauties this week Rose. You are right, who cares or who can remember anyway? Surely not me! I never get tired of seeing these old barns, the last two look like they could be repaired by adding new boards or putting back the ones that fell off. my favorite shot today is number 2.
The sad state condition of many barns is a sad loss. I'm always glad to hear of places where the community has undertaken to preserve these barns for their historic value.

They are all such wonderful specimens of old barns. Love old barns!
It does seem sad that they are in disrepair but it adds a bit of "charm" dare I say to them as well.
