Good fences...

First, something that I hope makes you smile...
We took a detour when coming home from the strip pits...and found this again.  I have seen it before but had just totally forgot it.  It is not all that far away from here.
Next, we have a bit of beauty...
I tell myself I cannot bring any seeds home...my neighbors would hate me.  But it sure is tempting.  Thistles are just gorgeous as long as you don't touch/step on them.

I never say it enough, but thank-you Theresa for hosting Good Fences

Forgot to add, we will be busy for a couple of days so I may be slow in visiting everyone.

This thistle is different from what I see around here. Your photo is just wonderful. I love your selection for Good Fences this week. Hope you enjoy the remainder of the week. xo

Love that Thistle with the single rusty metal behind the flower. The cow is certainly huge, cute though.

First thing that popped in my head was 'don't have a cow man!', lol. Did you know the thistle is the national flower of Scotland? I'll definitely have to show this lovely photo to my Great Scot!

I think they need a bigger fence.

I was thinking that is a little fence for such a huge cow---but I did get a chuckle out of the shot.
That is a pretty thistle---new for me

The cow does get lots of attention. Fine thistle blossom too. Nice one.

BTW: you could grow some Artichoke just for the flowers. Giant size thistles. Just sayin'

I love thistles. But I can see your point in not wanting to annoy your neighbors. That's a particularly beautiful one. And I don't think that fence is going to keep that cow in. They may want to think about adding a few rails.

Thank you, I am smiling, a lot too!

Now they are very cool fence shots. Love the cow and the thistle with the rusty fence wire. B

That cow knows how to attract attention! Looks like it could just step over the fence and wander away. Lovely thistle shot. They are pretty!
