Great Blue Heron

I followed this Great Blue Heron around for a little while today...up at the Heron Viewing place north of Danville, Illinois.

the herons are fun to watch and when they catch a fish, it amazes me how they eat it.

We used to see so many Herons down in the Valley but either I am not at the right time or what but we don't see too many---well some its pretty watery there.
Yes my fairy girl always has some gems in her holder. I have here for many ears so I have to keep her happy.
BTW: I wish you could come here and we could travel all the back roads and take pictures.
