Name this bird

Took this out at the strip pits late this evening...I am not sure what it is.  I am thinking some kind of sparrow but cannot find one that looks just like it.  This photo doesn't show it, but it is a real tiny little thing...and it was just singing its heart out.  Be sure and click to expand the view.

It looks rather like a Henslow's sparrow to me, not that I'm an authority, lol. Beautiful photo!

Pretty bird and photo. I have a tough time with sparrows I am going to just guess and say a Grasshopper sparrow.

What ever it is, it is a cute little sparrow and you got a good photo of it :-) I'm not good with sparrows except the few I see all the time. I saw one at the strip pits here that I couldn't identify. I would love to know bird songs.

My first thought was Savannah Sparrow. I always have to look them up to make sure though. Sparrows are still hard for me to identify!
