Tennessee barns...again

It is time for that wonderful meme, The Barn Collective, hosted by Tom the Backroads Traveller.   Again, I am resorting to barns from Tennessee.
First we have a drive-by...it is an old beauty I think.
This one isn't all that great technically, but it isn't a drive-by.  At least I am pretty sure it isn't cause there are a couple photos looking like they were taken from almost the exact same spot.
This one I have posted before, but love it simply because it is a quilt barn.
And I have posted this before..
But I don't think I ever posted a sepia version of it.  Which version do you prefer?

I hope you don't mind more Tennessee barns...there are still more to come.  And believe it or not they were all taken the same day...at least these that I have posted recently.

Even if you don't join the meme, please encourage anyone you see with a barn post to join The Barn Collective.

Good to see that they're still standing....just about! Many of our English barns only survive because they've been converted to other uses.

You hope we don't mind more Tennessee barns? Really? Keep them coming! They are all special, but my favorite is the quilt barn. What a great setting with the hills in the background. Thanks Rose for linking up this week and I hope that you return again. Tom The Backroads Traveller

I think your excursions out and about in the farm country, finding barns with so much charm and character, is a FUN post. I enjoy the photos very much.

I enjoy your barn series! These are lovely old barns. I like the first image and the quilt barn! Have a happy day and new week ahead!

Very nice barns. I love the one with the ivy growing on it and I like it in natural color. The sepia just seems to lose something. A contrast between the ivy and the barn, I think.

that first barn looks like they built the road after the fact since the barn is right on the road. i really like that shot and the barn. i love the last barn with the vines and i like to see the green vines in color.

I like the last barn in color. The sepia makes it look dry and crunchy. Keep the Tennessee barns coming. Let's listen to their stories.

A fine group of barns. I like the different construction that produces a pattern on the barns. Nice post.

You can show me any barn from any state anytime! I should join this sometime!

The sepia version is timeless... it could have been taken a hundred years ago, or yesterday. Keep 'em coming!
