Velvia slides

This is an old scanned slide...Velvia I am 99% sure because of the saturation and the color.   Its a so-so photo in so many ways, but oh, how I love the color.
This is another from the same year.  Don't you love how bright the trees are compared to the dull grass?

Yes, beautiful color! I used Velvia for years. I remember testing it for a photo class assignment and finding it had superior latitude; the colors did not shift when underexposed although Kodak film did.

The tree photos are amazing. I love the composition of the first one - the tiny pointed evergreen in the foreground and the house snuggled between the trees and the color in the second one witht he rusty old building in the background - fabulous - absolutely fabulous!!!! I've gotten way behind in my blog reading - trying to catch up with some of my favorites - and love your header.

Very pretty. One of the trees we ordered is a sugar maple and I hope when it grows, it will be very colorful.
