A treasure...

We went to a Gun & Knife show this weekend....across the street was this old beauty!
I sure would love to own something like this, as long as it was driveable.
And just for the heck of it, below is my daughter and her new vehicle....
her hubby and his buddy drove to Wyoming to pick it up.  They left Friday and got home today.  OH, and BTW, Sarah got a new job today! God is Good.  Not sure what all Jeremy wants to do to it....it will be fun to see.

Linking to Tuesday's Treasures.

I like taking photos of old trucks and cars. I get concerned that people might come out and yell at me. I like the one truck you took photos at the top.

You are just my sort of gals!
I'm driving a 30 year old car. And rode a 1073 BMW motorcycle through the 1990's. Carry on ladies!

What a great looking old truck. I wonder if it's driveable. Always a shame to see classic old vehicles just rusting away. Your Daughter's new truck looks pretty ancient too.

Oh that brought a tear to my eye; my Dad had a truck just like that when I was wee! Beautiful, and congratulations on the new job!

Age can bring great beauty - or so I keep kidding myself!

That '49 Ford F6 sure has a lot of life left, clear coat the body and make a rat rod out of it. And Sarah is a luck girl with her '61 GMC, get a piece of 2x10 for a front bumper and she's ready to rock and roll. Thanks for sharing these treasures this week Rose and please keep hunting for more.

Love these gorgeous classic rides! I would drive it looking just the way it is now :)

Oh what a shame to see all these once beloved vehicles with such an amount of rust.

Goodness me look at all the wonderful colours in that old rusty patina, beautiful.. but I don't think it's going anywhere in a hurry Rose :)

Its a pity this vehicle is left to rust.

My late husband always had an old truck or two to work on and they were drive-able and we used them. We had at different time a 49 ford pickup and 2 50 ford pickups. Usually our main vehicles . I bet Jeremy will have a great time working on the e GMC
Good shots of the old Ford

I might have stood in the back of a truck like that Ford with the wind in my hair but don't tell ;)

Growing up with three older brothers, I've always been interested in 'dinking' with auto engines and a dream has always been to rebuild a Model T Ford. That'll never happen. lol

And Guns and Knife show....my son would LOVE to have tagged along.

I think I might start with a front bumper. :-)

The truck I posted is also a Ford! Photographing the progress of your daughter's truck would be a great photo essay and give you lots of shots for Tuesday's Treasures!

Great finds, both of vehicles.
