the leg rings sure stand out.
I have never seen a Whooping Crane. I was thrilled to see Sand Crains the other day, but they were too far away to get pics of. They are a rare site where I live.
Absolutely beautiful; thanks for sharing them with us. =)
Such magnificent birds. They look wonderful with their white plumage. We sometimes see cranes hanging around ponds and lakes in our London parks, but they are a bit drab and grey by comparison with your beautiful birds. All the best, Bonny
they are beautiful and i don't think i have ever seen one. our resident egret stands in our ground cover focuse like this one and zap, he pulls up a frog or a lizard. i stand in the window and watch and he always gets his target
Hello Rose, awesome sighting and photos of the Whooping Cranes. I would love to see them in the wild. Happy Sunday, enjoy your week ahead!
Majestic. We live in an amazing, fantastic world.
You did a fabulous job on these closeups. They are super. They are so majestic. If I can check both blogs, maybe people will be able to check both of mine.
Love their little red crowns.
I find your pictures of the whooping crane very interesting. I don't get to see birds like this ever in this location.
You were fortunate to photograph these. Thanks for sharing the pics and I hope your day is very nice!
The whooping cranes are beautiful! Have a great week ahead!
How cool! So glad you were able to get photos!
Beautiful! When I was about 12, I wrote a report on whooping cranes for school. They were endangered; glad they are still around!
