A spot of color

I don't know about where you are, but here it is a chilly, dreary day.  This splash of color is appealing to me.

I'm assuming that is not blooming right now :-) But it sure is beautiful! I've always wanted to make a quilted poppy and that one would be a perfect pattern for making one. Hope all is well with you and Roger!

We have had some cool but sunny days in my part of the UK ...
However, that lovely red shade is certainly appealing.

All the best Jan

We could use some color on this overcast, very dull day. A fine post.

We have had two months of constant rain with very little sunshine. Love the poppy image!

I love Poppies. I have planted them several times, but the Universe has told me each time that they are not meant to be. They never die a natural death but by unforeseen catastrophe. But I will continue the effort...just as I did for the Chicory that I love so much. It reminds me every year to be tenacious.
xx, Carol
