Vintage

It just crossed my mind...do they even make oil cans like this anymore?  I am going to have to look for one.  If I can remember.

These two shots overlap...couldn't make up my mind which I liked best so just posting both.

Also, I did not pay a bit of attention to the prices of these, but next time I am there, I will.

Now that's an interesting display. Where did you find those?

FG, they were at an antique shop in Arthur, Illinois

The lubricant can looks too much like Campbell's soup. But you are RIGHT! Phil doesn't think they make these oil cans anymore. Remember the Tin Man being squirted with one?

Amazing....this is a flea market? Antique store? I bet they're all over priced. lol

I think Bud has a couple of oil cans...old ones....somewhere.

My dad had one of these oil cans and my brother has it. Two houses ago, our neighbor had a collection of oil cans that he had collected over the years.

I like those oil cans in the first pictures. I think those are now replaced with plastic containers.

I haven't seen any oilcans like that for many years. Nice to see them again.

Oil cans make a great collection.
I don't think they make those kinds any more either, though I do remember them and I think we even have one or two in our garage now!
Great photos.

These are so fine! I don't think the cans nowadays are as nicely designed !

Wow, those are old oil cans. I love the vintage pictures that you often take, Rose. That red oil can with the "Chevron" is so cool. I'll show my son that picture. : )
