It was almost middle of the day when we happened to drive through the strip pit area. So, I am shooting with my little point and shoot and cannot see the screen...I am just aiming and hoping for a decent result. The one above, I got a glimpse, but only guessed and shot. The ones below are totally blind shots. I would have a better chance of reading in the dark than seeing the screen...
Not too bad...for not seeing what I was shooting...
I was happier with this one. Look toward the horizon...all those geese on the ground. I think they are mostly white fronted geese, but not sure. I think there are some Canada geese mixed in.

Wow! Well, as they say, safety in numbers. Are the ones in the first picture white fronted? Swans maybe? Great flying shots, not blurry at all. This takes patience and talent. For you, that is, not the birds!

Lovely shots on the birds and u did the best despite the difficult in shooting! The blue sky and white geese was brilliant
I think your series is very good. It is impressive when one knows of the condition under which you had to take pictures.

you have reminded me of something i used to do and post on my blog. i called them blind shots, where I would just aim and not look at what i was taking, as in sit the camera on the ground and snap it. these came out beautifully and i love the last one with all those birds on the ground. I took my tablet outside to take a photo and the sun was so bright even in the shade i could not see the screen. that is why i wanted the eye hole on my camera, which is hard to find these days. the viewer is not there on most which i rather use than a screen

Those white birds in motion are so beautiful. I always have to stop for white birds. Look at all those geese on the ground, what a sight!
