These photos were taken on the same day as the photos in the previous post. We have never been able to find it again. I had not even remembered the barn in the previous post, but the place shown in these photos....I think about it often enough.
I am just showing them in the order they were taken. Notice that the chain is locked on the dog. There was another dog, looked like at least part Goldern Lab, with a chain and lock just like this one.
And I always remember the dark colored horse.
Notice the chain....that is the chain that the dog is locked to. There were posted signs everywhere....I wonder did they have a lot of trouble with trespassers, or were they trying to hide something.

Goodness, I wonder if there is even anyone living there at all! The animals do not appear very well taken care of. Perhaps they were left there, and the owner comes every so often. Everything about this is so sad!
I love old abandoned buildings but with the animals there it makes me worried that they were left there and abandoned. If you can figure out where that place is I would call the humane society and report them. It is a pretty picture of the old house.
Some of these things make you wonder just what this is all about. I do hope those animals were getting good treatment.
Those pictures raise several questions in my mind; none with happy answers.
I feel sad for the animals. The dog doesn't look happy. I do hope the animals are fed regularly and nothing bad is happening there.
When I saw the first picture my thought was that it must be an abandoned house. That looks like a very heavy chain for that poor dog and why would they use a lock. The horses look on the thin side as well. I hope there is someone there that is feeding them.
Hello,
I feel sorry for the dogs and the horses. What a sad life they have there.
Wishing you a happy day!
Interesting series. The house looks sturdy. I hope the dogs have plenty of water and food.
Wow they are some heavy chains. I don't think I'd like to meet that dog along a walk.
The horses are pretty - they look a bit thin to me though. This looks like an abandoned place.

I could not look at the house for being so upset over the chained dogs. I really hate a chain on a dog. the ultimate cruelty. makes me sick to my stomcach.
Oh dear, not nice to see a chained dog and the horses do look thin …
All the best Jan
