Again, I did not notice the critter till I downloaded the photos. This was taken at the strip pit tonight. It is the first time I have went out on a late evening ramble in a long time. I have a few new photos to show, but won't show them all tonight.
This milkweed blooms were across a rough area...I still have to really watch where I walk so this was taken from a distance.
I have a couple other shots of milkweed but will save them for another day.

Hurrah, a visit to the strip pit! I LOVE your photos! I would never know they were taken from a distance! Hard to choose a favorite, but this Milkweed closeup is gorgeous. Can't wait to see the rest.
Wonderful pictures. Bird's Foot Trefoil, as soon as I saw that name, I knew that this was the answer to my question. These are growing all over the ditches around here and I just couldn't think of the name. I knew what they were but the name was gone, so Thanks.

Nice capture of the critter. I think milkweed is a good plant to attract butterflies.
It's always fun when you find a critter in your shot and didn't know it was there. Great shots. I need to get out, but it has been so hot.
