I am sorry, I cannot help it...this makes me think of that song. I have photos of two Whooping Cranes, but I prefer this one of the one Whooping Crane followed by the Sandhill Cranes.

The cranes in a row make a great scene. I like their action.
This photo was a delight. I am always amazed and intrigued by the variety of wildlife you capture with your camera. There is a sandhill crane refuge less than 20 miles from us, but I have seen only one at the refuge. We saw several in a field outside the refuge once. I admit our visits were few. I did enjoy the walks. Post-stroke we have not visited. Maybe its time to try again.
Just to see a Whooping Crane would be a thrill and you even have a great picture.WOW!

This is a fabulous image and the title made me laugh. It is perfect! I have never seen either one of these cranes. Only in pictures.
It has been a very long time since I saw a Whooping Crane, surely one of North America's most magnificent birds, and one which we almost drove to extinction.
