They must love the sun on this log!

They look content. :) I've never seen turtles in the wild.

They don't look like they're built for climbing, but they got up there somehow. We don't have wild turtles here so I'm always fascinated to see photos of them.

It's funny how they hang out in groups like that.

What a life, laying in the sun and hanging with your friends :)

Cute capture of these turtles as they bask in the sunlight on limited real estate!

The sun bathing turtles.

The turtles seem to know where to sit and get warm. A fine capture of their behavior.

Millie has a love/hate relationship with turtles ever since one bit her when she was learning to swim. Our pond turtles are very shy and hit the water fast when we come around. This, however, is a great picture of these interesting critters!

They blend in so well, Rose. Camo shells. Very, very cool photo.

I will enjoy yours via your photos and watch for our next visit from the box turtles!

In my park's lake, the big ones push off the little ones, so most logs have only a few, and only the large.

Good grief! Too many to choose from. I couldn't possibly pick. Fun shot.
