Virginia creeper live any and everywhere and it is to be hated down here because it grows year-round. We do get it to turn red or yellow once in awhile during the winter months but not much. It's beautiful green red or gold but wow is it a pest
i love your treatment that softened the the flowers on the vines Rose... it looks like a water colour....peter:)
i read your "About Me" story and find so many parallels with the way that we were raised... only the last two girls were born in hospital... we had Mrs.Dr. Cothorpe who came to our house for the previous seven births...
i was the sixth in line out of 9 kids... so many of the things that we did was similar to yours... except we allays had electricity and lived in a town in ON Canada... our entertainment was about the same and we played with the firecrackers about the same way... i had fun reminiscing our past... what you are now... is what you were then:) Peter Meilleur
Ooooo, that's such a pretty picture, Rose. Fall is starting to show here, but not as much as when I lived in Northern Cal. It's a glorious season there. : )

Such beautiful colours and patterns - almost like a print for a summer dress.
Love that rich red color.
Beautiful fall colors. I always thought Virginia Creeper was a funny name.
Love the red leaves - so pretty.
