At one time in my life, I would have had to come home with at least one of these. And it was still tempting but since I am trying to get rid of the clutter, I only took a picture.

The plate has such a nice old vintage look. I have made a pledge to myself not to bring in more. I must learn to take more pictures.
It is a beautiful rooster plate. It must be hard to resist buying that plate.
I'd have been tempted too; I have a bit of a thing about roosters and hens - symbols of my childhood I suppose.
I understand the need to declutter, but I also understand the temptation.

A colorful find that reminds me of my grandmother's stoneware!
It is beautiful. I probably at one time would have bought it too! I too, am trying to get rid of so much stuff. I love going into antique and junk stores and I would always leave with something but now I have way too much stuff. And after cleaning out my parents' house, there was even more. So now I am trying to get rid of it all.
i've been trying to do that as well. Take a picture, to preserve the memory and leave the item where it is.

So colorful and cheerful. My grandma had a plaster rooster that must have been three feet by three feet that hung in the wall in her kitchen.

This plate is unique. I used to love rooster items, but since I have a rooster and chickens crowing right next door, I can live without them. I love the eggs they provide though haha.
