Meet Copper

I have not shown our new Grandpup....our daughter has had him about a month.  He and his siblings were left in a box beside a busy road.  In Tennessee.  A rescue place in North Carolina took the dogs.  Our daughter met them at Dayton, Ohio to get him.  I have shown most of these pics on my other blog want to show them here anyway.

His name does not come from his color, but the first night she had him, he howled when left put in the crate for the night like Copper from The Fox and the Hound.

The pictures warm my heart. 💕

Such attentive ears. My last pet dog had the same eyes like Copper. She was a stray before we adopted her.

Sweet doggie...

He's so cute and that last picture is so adorable. How sad that someone would leave dogs in a box on the side of the road.

Copper was the name of the dog we had when I was a child. He was a small, unidentifiable sort of spaniel, very affectionate and completely mad!

Rose...I have half-heifers, and couldn't remember visiting Sandra this morning. Well, after opening her blog again, I realized I did visit! But, the reason I'm here telling you is because of your comment you left for her. I cooked with laughter!!

Hello Copper. That was so nice of your daughter to take him and care for him. He has sad eyes, but pretty. All of Nel's dogs have been from shelters, and I think it's wonderful when people choose one and make it a part of their family. 'The Fox and the Hound' was a favorite when my son was little. : )
