Not a regular barn...

In October, pre pandemic, there was a Parke County Covered Bridge festival.  Parke county is a farming community with a population of less than 20, 000 people.  During the 10 days that the festival goes on, over a million people pass through.  This barn is full of booths during those days. In fact every little town has things going on.  Vendors, food....oh, and along all the roads there are yard sales and more yard sales. Hopefully sometime in the near future, it can resume.

I would come to see the bridges. But, I would rather see them without the crowds.

That sounds like a blast. I want to come visit when that's going on!

If I felt better, that all would be so much fun.

How lively... and yet how 'foreign' that sounds and feels now; like a dream! YAM xx

We have missed so many beloved yearly events last year and even this year with the pandemic. It will be nice when things get back to normal again. This is a lovely barn.

If fools would just get their shots and wear their masks, it could be that way soon!

What a fabulous looking barn. Just over the border in Ohio they also have a covered bridge festival. I've never actually gone and looked at all the bridges but I did participate in one of the craft shows they had.

I was about to say this is my favorite barn ever, then found out it is not really a barn but a type of flea market. I LOVE IT!!! really do... if not for the pandemic I would like all the festivities and I know people miss it and the money they need to make

The festival sounds fun, I love covered bridges.
Things could be normal, once everyone was vaccinated.
Take care, have a happy day!

Sounds wonderful. Wish we could return to those normal days. Yet again, we are on nationwide lockdown for 21 days. Hopefully, after 21 days, we will see an improvement.

What a charming barn. I like the wreath hanging from it. That would be fun to go to the festival and browse through all the booths and have wonderful different foods. I've always loved craft fairs and festivals. I am hoping this mountain town has something like that. : )
