We were talking the other day. I ask Roger if he remembered these. He was coming home from work late, and spotted these on an old tree at the edge of the road. He did not have anything to put them in. So he came home to get a flashlight and something to put them in. My brother happened to be here and they went back and picked them in the dark. He has eaten these mushroom all his life...and I started after I married him. We have never seen any this big--before or after.

Holy smokes that's a big mushroom. What kind is it? I would be afraid to pick and eat anything. With my luck I would pick a poisonous one.
