Oh how wonderful :-)) We don't have any, but I saw the first turtles - except in the ZOO - in Greece. And this summer I saw in Sardinia, it was a big farm with a lot of turtles ... and of course your beautiful photo reminds me of it.

It does look like they are ready to dive in.
I see this sometimes, but they always plop in the water before I can get a good shot.
It is a remarkable scene and it great you can catch it on your camera. I have rarely seen a turtle in the wild. I did have a pet turtle for a while that I got from one of my students. Sidewinder I think was its name.

I love seeing turtles sunning themselves. There are a lot of them here! They are so cute. I hardly ever see turtle anymore. A wonderful picture and great scene!
