Another butterfly showing above that has seen better days....

and I LOVE those two at the top of the above photo....

and the one here--the smaller one--I chased it around all over trying to get a good photo. It was having a time in the wind. It is the one whose wings rippled like a flag blowing in the wind. When I say I chased it around, I am not saying it was trying to get away from me. It was trying to find a place the wind didn't hit so hard. I don't know what kind he is, and will try to find out later. But for right now I am just going to get this ready to post. I will try to think and add any info about it to the comment section.

I like that second photo a lot. You found three butterfly on one flower. I haven't seen one yet!
Hi Rose, They are all gorgeous... I especially like the top one in the 3rd photo... Wow!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
From what I can find, I think the top one in the bottom photo is a Pipeline Swallowtail.
These pictures are just wonderful. I also really like the second one.
Fine close ups of these beautiful butterflies. I like the excellent detail you captured. Fine job of shooting, Rose.
Serendipity - that's often what good photography is...and this is good photography! My favorite, though, is the second one: three in one!
These are amazing, Rose, and to have captured three all at once is quite an accomplishment! Can't seem to get them to sit still around here.
