Barn Charm

First of all, the first picture below should have been published with last week's Barn Charm...it was the last view we had of the farm.

And the following views are for this week's featured barn.
This one was definitely south of Terre Haute, but just can't remember if it was on the day we went to Goose Pond, or on the day we were over in Illinois...and I am not taking the time to look.

I love how sturdy and true itwas built...

and as usual, I would love to see inside and see what is on the other side of the windows. Again the small doors and so many windows fascinate me...I am linking this to Tricia's Barn Charm Meme.

Been gone for a couple days so going to take some time to catch up with everyone.

Love the view from last week's barn. It doesn't look like there's much underneath holding it up. :)
This week's barn is a beauty!
Looks like a new roof so someone is trying to preserve it.
Love that first shot!

Wow, that new one is one big barn.

that metal roof is like the one that was on my grandmothers old Florida Cracker house. i love the first one, it is really really charming

I love the patchwork look of the rusty roof in the first shot.
And I like your honesty about not remembering exactly where a shot was taken and being bothered to take the time to research! (I spend far too much time doing that, and really does anyone care that much? we just like the pics.)

I'm glad you added the final view of last week's barn. The colors in the roof are lovely. It's in sharp contrast to the shiny roof of this week's barn. I love the contrast of that shiny roof with the weathered boards. The first shot is wonderful with the colorful field in front.

They're both beautiful barns... I love that 3rd shot, it really shows it's grandeur! Just like you, I'd love to see inside

Thanks so much for joining, Rose, much appreciated!!! =)

These are great barns, Rose. That last one is magnificent! I'm like you, I'd love to see inside of the barns, too.

The first barn is my favorite, and I love the second picture for the cornfield in the foreground, very colorful!

Both are lovely! The windows on the second barn are soooo tiny!

Wow that first one's roof was repaired over and over. The new roof on the second one looks so nice. Great shots.

I love that last shot.

This week's barn is very sturdy and practical, but the first barn has a lot of charm with that patchwork roof.

lovely barn images Rose! The little windows fascinate me too and I think we would all like to get inside of the barns we snap! Top shot-love the roof!

This is a fine example of a solid barn. It may need paint but that great roof will extend its life. Nice one.

That first shot is wonderful. So glad you decided to include it this week. That is one awesome roof with oodles of personality. The cupolas on the second one are lovely and the autumnal weed lets around it are so pretty. Sadly, I am working off the “hot spot” on my iPhone and these are the only photos coming up...sorry about that. Wish I could see the other. Will check back next week and try to wee them then. Hope you are having a nice week. genie

It is such a sturdy looking old timer but it has a real sad face. MB
