I'm not sure either but they sure are pretty.
they look a lot like our poinciana tree pods but i don't think they grow in TN and i think i remember that is where you are, right? they are bokeh beautiful, what ever they are

They could be any number of plants. I've seen similar in trees, bushes, even in the desert. And that is the extent of my plant knowledge.
They are beautiful -- that's what they are.
Beautiful shot, love the colors. I've seen seed pods like that before, but I'll be darned if I can remember what they are.
Do you know if it's a mimosa tree or silk tree. They can have seed pods like that.
