Barns...photo overload....

I have probably posted a lot of these at one time or another...
but came across some of them which lead to looking for others...

and decided to post several in one post.

It is one of my favorite barns....it is east of Bridgeton, near the old iron bridge.

Looking at it from the front....the part on the right side has been suffered storm damage twice in the past few years, and both times they have repaired it. The last time was last year and it was almost completely torn off.

I don't know why the photo below has that greenish hint of color along the top..

I have taken lots of photos of this place and will probably take a lot more.

And I will probably post more of them...

So, in trying not to say too much, will just say that this is my entry to Tricia's Barn Charm Meme.

I'm so glad you like taking photos of barns, Rose, because you have a great eye for making them appeal to my senses. :)) I think you like a lot of things that I like.

The winter photos are a welcome sight today with our temps/humidex in the mid-90's!
Just love the shot of the cultivator or whatever it is. The wheels looks like art.

Great photos! The winter ones are a relief to look at considering it's so hot and humid where I am in east central Iowa!

I really love the shape of this one and all that weathered wood. I like the shot of the machinery as well.
Terrific barn Rose!

Wonderful old barn! I love the shape and the weathered wood. Also like the art looking machinery. I think it is an old hay rake.

What an amazing old barn! It's architecture is gorgeous. The hay rake is a fine addition too!

Great photos! I love the second shot with that tiered roof. The snow scenes are so refreshing! Very artistic photo of the hay rake.

This is certainly a beautiful barn in any season. I like it's top roof section (ventilation?). The photo of the old hay winnow (?) is really nice. I don't know my farm tools. lol Great photos!

I love it! It has a very unusual shape, and glad to see they are taking such good care of it. Do post more photos of it!

My favorites are the ones with the snow!

Yep, I too like the one where the snow is flying. The one beneath it with the hay cutters (I think that is what they are) is neat.

Great photos... not to keen on the snow...as it hasn't been gone long enough for me... to appreciate it yet...LOL..(actually those pictures are great!!)

I think it's nice to have a photo subject that you're compelled, for some reason, to visit and visit again.

This is a beautiful barn! I'd take lots of photos of it, too!

There are some places that just cry out for you to photograph - over and over and over! This is a lovely barn - it was a great tour of the place!

Really a beautiful barn. I like that you showed us the inside of it, too. Thanks for sharing--I enjoyed the tour.

love this 3 tiered barn, really love it and my favorite shot is the tiller thingy that looks like black lace.

I love the snow scenes. Can't wait to have an opportunity to get some "snowy" barns. You have some wonderful photos there.

These barn shots make a fine Barn Charm post. I like the shape of this barn and its interesting outline of its roof. Very nice images.

I have enjoyed seeing all the different photos of it and the bit of background you've given about it. It's an awesome barn and one that I would think you would never tire of capturing on camera. I like that you did inside shots too.
I wish I could get more of those.

That is quite some barn - you got some really good pictures of it too.

What great barns pictures!

I can see why you keep coming back to this barn, Rose. Like some other commenters, think the 3-level roofline is fantastic. Especially enjoyed your winter photos--and the patterns that the equipment made against the walls inside the barn.

1st of all, love the dark barn wood, it's my fave.
2nd - love the raised upper section, one mighty looong cupola.
3rd - love the different seasons shots!
4th - It's really great to see them repair this beauty!

Thanks, Rose! =)
