Just a glimpse for Friday's fences...

We passed this fence sometime last year over in Illinois...it was a beauty....and I don't know why I did not get better photos...if I remember correctly it was a busy road even though out in the middle of nowhere.
Even though I should have done better, I am still going to share this with you for Friday's Fences.

You got enough so we can see. I have never seen a stone wall with a curve at the top like this, it is beautiful!

I love stone fences but have never seen one with the ropy mortar lines. This is a great one.

This is gorgeous! The design is very different with the mortar lines, and I love all the colors of the stones! Plus, that gate is simply magnificent! I would say you did very well!

Look at all the work that went into building that fence. Amazing. You did a fine job taking the pictures. Sometimes traffic just won't let you do what you want to do.
