Barn Charm again!

For Barn Charm, I am entering several views of one barn.   Poor old barn that it is.  Everything is growing up around it.
It almost looks as if the vines growing on it and the trees surrounding it might be holding it all together.
There was a 'No Trespassing' sign so I did not venture any closer...but I sure wanted to.
So, there you have my entry for Barn Charm...

I would've wanted to get closer, too - that's the kind of barn I'd love getting a peek at on the inside (but from the doorway, in case it started to crumble). It's amazing how the Earth eventually reclaims bits of itself.

I would love to hear the stories behind this barn! It looks very deserted. Great shots!

Yep, the barn is being taken over!

Yes, it looks fairly abandoned... did you go poke around?

This poor old barn looks kind of lonely out in the field. I'd love to know its story.

This is a fantastic old barn surrounded by trees and vines! I like the falling down gate and the tracks leading to it. I would have wanted to investigate it more too.

Wonderful find! I think I would have had to walk up the driveway a bit, going on the theory that the sign was put up long before the barn was abandoned. I would have hurried though, just in case!

What a cool place. The history behind it would be cool. The stories these old barns hold.

Nice sots. I know what you mean by the no trespassing signs. I find it to be a very fine line between great shots & stepping onto private property.

This place looks like it has stories to tell....if, only.

Great find.

It may be a poor old barn, but it still is very charming!

Awwww! I wonder who is responsible for barns like this? And also all the grass and weeds. Our city has an ordinance that grass has to be mowed at least twice a year.

I can't help but think that this barn would have many great stories to tell.

So sad to see abandoned places becoming part of nature again, ever so slowly...no longer needed or loved by anyone.

You may be right that the trees and vines are holding it together! Too sad to see so many abandoned barns these days.

I love old abandoned buildings and barns....I don't know why. I think they tell a story, if we just listen. You can almost see the farmer's tractor being driven into the shed, and the cows and horses going into the barn to get out of the weather. Just a little imagination....you might see Wilbur and Charlotte there.

this is fantastic, i might have had to sneak down that lane to get a closer look...

It's a fine old barn clinging to its existence thanks to all those trees and brush. Nice shots of it with a good variety.

I'll bet that little barn could tell some stories. You got some great shots, even if you couldn't get closer.

It's places like this that I would love to cross that "no trespassing" sign and wander a little closer. Don't ya wonder what it's history is?

Oh poor old thing. I wonder where it's people are. It does look like the brush and trees are holding it together. Sad. MB

It sure could be saved, if anyone was of a mind to do it! That last shot doesn't look too awful bad.

Sorry- I meant that side of the barn doesn't look bad- not your shot of it... :)

I love these. I'd say the vines and trees are holding it together!

I see so many places like this that I want to get closer to. I'm just chicken . . . and usually alone, so even more chicken. I've watched too many horror movies - and the nightly news. Great find. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed seeing this relic from different viewpoints. If I had to pick one it would be #3, but having the group is best.
