It's a Mother and Child reunion....

We passed this baby today...I think it had been born today. We sat and watched it a while. It was first laying in hay...so little. I sat and laughed...had been an age since I had sat and watched a calf butt it's mama to get her to give down her milk. Just pure joy.

Comparing it to our neighbors calves when they are born it looks to me that it's a fairly new calf.
