Even though this is a Good Fences post, the fences are hardly noticeable. Its the critters that take centerstage.
These are the same cows/calves I photograph every chance I get. I told Roger they are the most photographed cows there ever was.
Isn't it a cutie??? Who can resist a face like that?
How can they be so content in temps as cold as it was today?

so very cute.
(thank you, rose).
The cows are so cute. Their furs are keeping them warm.
They are beautiful!
The calf on the right in the bottom photo looks distinctly cranky. I like that. ;-)
Who could resist them, so cute & contented! I love Mom's freckled face & black nose too!
You are right. I hardly noticed the fence. You gotta love a cow face!!
Sure the fences are in the photos...but I must be honest here....I LOVE the cows/calves best of all. Sweet.
Excelente fotografia e bom trabalho.
Um abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.
Hello, my eyes go straight to the cute cows. Adoarble photos, great fence find. Enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
I love these photos, Rose!
I want to pet them and hug them and photograph them.. just staring at your photos makes me happy and warm and fuzzy inside... LOVE ALL OF THESE
Lovely shots of these pretty cows.
sleepy critters
No wonder you shoot them often. They are so cute and attractive.
I have often wondered how farm animals can be so unaffected by the cold.
The critters are adorable and fascinating ~ great photography and fence is neat too ~
Happy Weekend to you ^_^
Very sweet!
Really nice shots of those lovely cows behind the fencing. I do agree that one has a very sweet looking face.
Little one are so cute and so fuzzy in the colder areas.
MB
What sweet cows. They must be very strong to withstand the cold. Back in Ireland we bring our animals into the barn for the worst of the winter cold. It's a really happy day in spring when they get to enjoy the freedom of the open pasture again. They run and jump and kick their heels like over-excited puppy dogs. All the best, Bonny
Such winsome appealing creatures tend to elicit conflicted reactions … hopefully their fate is not a dinner table any time soon but to freely roam for years and years.
Yep, I'd be looking for the warm hay, for sure.
The top one is my favourite
Awe, they are so cute! I know what you mean, the calves and cows down the road get photographed a lot by me.
They look like they have nice winter coats on. Maybe they are warm...I hope! Hugs, Diane
These images are so wonderful to look at. The last shot is my favorite!
They're all pretty, but that one little one is even more adorable!
Hello Rose!:) Your fence post is delightful. The cows/calves are adorable in such wonderful poses. I would also photograph them a lot if I lived nearby, and do take a lot of pictures of ours.
Have a good Weekend!:)
You focused perfectly Rose.. I guess they have their winter coats on :) made me cooler just seeing these shots, merci beaucoup!
The calves are quite cute - and very hairy!
Ohhh they are so cute, and very photogenic.
