A favorite subject...

We were on one of the backroads to Mansfield with Lorelei today....I got to try to nab a few pics the chickens again.  The rooster in front is a bit on the shy side.  I don't know how many times I have tried to photograph him and he won't stay in one place for long.  I think he is actually afraid.
The hens are not quite as bad...
but they were busy and hard to capture them at the best second...
I love photographing chickens, specially roosters.

The icing on the cake was when we were getting to Mansfield, Lorelei told me that that was her new favoritest road!

The chickens are very healthy and big! The rooster always attract the most attention but I think the hens are so beautiful.

I like the pictures of chickens. Lorelei's comment shows she is likely full of witticisms,

Her 'new favorite rod' I like that. what a fun traveling pal she is. Reminds me of Ktlee at that age---so full of being excited!
glad you like chickens. we have been looking at baby chicks at the feed stor but no we are not getting any. We are down to 2 hens and they lay enough for us.
Have fun today. Yes come walk in the woods with me and Bing.

When I saw the pic of the roosters, I wanted to visit you, because my daughter and son in law started having chickens a year ago. They started with 10 baby chicks. Wow, they multiply fast!
These roosters are so pretty! Ididn't know they could be fearful:)

They do make great subjects. Sweet Lorelei. Isn't great when they enjoy the same things we do?

These are great shots of the chickens. I'm on instagram and I follow several people who post the fuzzy butts and colorful feathers.
