I don't know how many times I have stopped to take pics of this place and yet I never get one I am proud of. I am posting it anyway.
Another so, so pic...at least I was straining to turn around enough to take it. If Roger backed up, till I didn't have to, the tree was in the way. Why I didn't just get out is more than I know. But this is one of those Jacob sheep...notice the horns!

cool sheep - glad you remembered the species as it would have driven me crazy trying to think of it.
A very handsome sheep with the beautiful horns.
I really like this old barn. We are losing them at such a fast rate these days. Nice to see one you can see through that is not falling down.
Nothing so-so about them, Rose. I love them both and thanks for the name of the sheep breed as I don't think I've seen any hereabouts.
so, so, nice!
What a cool sheep!
Hello, the Jacob Sheep is cool. Great shots of the barn and critter. Have a happy day and weekend!
I love both photos. Hope you two enjoy the weekend.
The horns caught my eye right away. Not sure I ever saw this before. And . . . how many times have I asked myself the same question about taking the time to get out and take the photo I know I want. I think it's called 'hurry sickness'.
when is the last time you had your eyes checked? these photos are beautiful.. i see no so so pics here. i love that sheep and the black barn is beautiful... never seen a Jacob sheep before. and only one sheep of any kind. the kind mary had that followed her around.
I enjoyed both pictures regardless of your opinion of them. The sheep is fascinating with those horns.
What do you mean--so so pics!? They are pretty good. that sad falling apart barn
I saw one of those sheep once and it had 3 horns and I called it a Unicorn sheep. duh!!
MB
It has 4 horns! Most unusual... well to me anyway. I have never heard of a Jacob sheep.
Wow, horns on the sheep. Great shots!
Couldn't miss the horns. :-)
I love the barn - it has such character. And the sheep is amazing - what horns - watch out for those.
