I like seeing people's clothes hanging out, too. And this is s pretty along with the hay and silos.

We do this every day on the clothes line on the terrace of our building :))))))))))))))))))

I seldom dry my washing any other way. I find it astonishing that some of my neighbours always rely on a tumble drier, even in midsummer. Why would anyone pay for electricity when the job can be done for free?

In the picture that looks like it's one long clothesline. If it is I'm suprised it's not sagging with all those clothes.
I haven't hung my clothes outside in a very long time. I guess I just got lazy
this might be the longest clothesline ever seen... that is a lot of clothes to wash and now I wonder if they do them by hand or have an electric washer..the house is so beautiful

I too love to see clothes blowing in the breeze.
It always evokes a day of simpler times. I am surprised by that VERY long line of clothes. There must be a support pole somewhere.:-)
I can almost smell that fresh smell when bringing the laundry in off the line. I used to love that.
When I say clothes online like this I recall how those of my mother smelled after they had dried. There is nothing else quite like that. So I enjoy those pictures very much.

When I was a kid, my mom hung clothes on the line. When I lived in Japan, I hung clothes on lines on the apartment balcony.
It looks like the person can stand on the porch and hang the clothes. The line must be on some type of pulley saving all kinds of walking back and forth. Smart move.
