I've never seen one this fancy!! I bet it costs a fortune.
be sure to move all those cardboard boxes before you light a fire here!

LOL Nubian Hot Blast... yup, could do with a little desert wind here too! YAM xx
The embellishments on that stove make it so attractive. It would look great anywhere, apart from the warmth it could give you.
We have a wood-burning stove up on the land, but even though we bought the smallest one we could find, it still puts out too much heat for the room. We have to open the windows a crack.
Do you ever use space heaters?
Is this a stove? I have never seen a stove like this. Very unique.
Muito interessante esta salamandra.
Um abraço e boa semana.

13°, to me, is not warming up at all! Brrrrr. That STOVE looks like it'd be a monster to try & keep clean. Very ornate tho.
Your temperatures are colder than ours. I think we were in the low 20s yesterday but the real feel was somewhere in the teens.
That stove is a real beauty.
Hello
It is 19° this morning. A warm fire in the stove would make it nice warm and comfy. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!
I know it sounds crazy, but for some reason, 13 degrees doesn't bother me as much as anything in the 40's. I don't know why, but when the temps are in the 40's, it feels miserable to me. That stove would probably help though.
we had a free standing stove in the corner of the living room in KY and so did the general store there, but nothing this fancy or beautiful. this is so pretty I would hate to mess it up with a fire. I used to dress for school in the corner behind the stove.. the house had 4 rooms downstairs and 3 upstairs and only one stove in the center room downstairs. the pipe ran up through the upstairs and that was the only heat up there. I woke many days to ice on the inside of the windows to my bedroom.
That stove is in such excellent conditon I wnder who maintains it. Excellent picture.
Such an ornate potbelly stove! It's a royal beauty. Glad that it is starting to warm up here as well.
Many people here in Maine have wood heat as their main sources of heat. I love seeing the wood sheds with their winter supply of wood stacked ever so neatly. I also love to photograph wood piles. The stove, to me anyway, has a Victorian look to it. I wonder if it is old or just made to looks old? Whichever, I like it.💖
Wow !!
And I thought it was a robot :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Devi :)))
That sure outshines the old black wood burning stoves I have seen. It is really beautiful.
Oh that is NICE!
That would certainly heat up the house. My son has a wood stove and it makes the house toasty. You are having really cold weather. It was in the mid 30's here today.
13 degrees.....that's so cold, Rose! It's in the 50's and 60's here and that's cold for us. : )

*your book about Caroline Ingalls sounds interesting. You know, I still watch the Little House re-runs every day. I've heard of Prairie Fires and wanted to read that as well. The diaries kept by women as they traveled west sounds like a good read. Thanks for sharing some of the books you've been reading with me today. : )
