Chartreuse wth a hint of red....

The color reminds me of fishing lure colors...the yellow green we call chartreuse.

I'm with Ginny, I wasn't quite sure what color chartreuse was either. Is this a recent picture? Leaves changing color already? I'm not quite ready for that yet.

A lovely blend of colours. You're finding hints of autumn colour very early in the year.

It looks like the red is being pumped into the leaves' veins through the stems. Yesterday, I noticed fall colors emerging in the backyard. It's too early (for me)!

Very pretty and the red stems are nice too.

the leaves seem a bit droopy, as if they need a good rain

The color is just beautiful. It is hard to believe that autumn is just around the corner. I am looking forward to the cooler weather and the wonderful colors.

Chartreuse was one of my favorite colors when I was in the 6th grade. For some reason it was popular that year, but I've never seen it on a plant. Beautiful, artistic shot. :)

This photo tells me that Fall is on its way. Rose, I'm not sure if I'll get many photos of Autumn in So Cal, as it is a more glorious season in Nor Cal, and it's my favorite season for taking photos. We'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, I can view your wonderful photos. : )
