
We headed north yesterday to see the Sandhill Cranes at Jasper-Pulaski Fish and Wildlife area...

I told more about the trip on my other blog. But here are a couple or three of the better photos.

I am publishing the top photo just to show you the area and how many cranes were there.

I like seeing the setting with so many birds. The closer in shots are very good. I especially like the two in flight.

These are fantastic captures, Rose! We were there on March 11th, but actually saw more deer than we saw sandhill crane. As well, a thunderstorm was starting so we decided not to stick around. I love hearing their call. =)
