I took this yesterday, the top is done in Photoshop Elements 2. The bottom is the original. I am not sure which one I like best. If you want to see more sepia scenes or join in the fun, click HERE.

That is tough! I like the sepia for the detail of the vains in the petals and the color one for the blue and yellow hues. Both are lovely!
PS Great crane shots! Jasper-Pulaski is such a great place to see them. Only made it once, brown county, IN is a long way away! :)
Of the two, if I had to chose, it would be the original version. The different, for me, is the way the original color has gradations of shades that give the image more depth. Excellent composition.

It's a great sepia shot Rose; but by far I like the natural sepia of the original best!
The sepia version came out very well. I think it's the better because it emphasizes form without the distraction of color. Nice work!
Hi Rose, That's an easy one for me... I like the original better--by far.
Love your new header ---and blog colors.
Hugs,
Betsy
They are both gorgeous, but I like the warth of the original. Show the sepia by itself and it's awesome.
I would have to vote for the second one!
They're both great, but I prefer the second one.
I also want to say that your header is stunning!

hmmm..yes that is tough. I think I prefer the natural sepia in the original.
But I like the top one as well!
I prefer the second version of the hydrangea, Rose. I think the blossoms stand out more against the background. But really, both photos are very goo!
they look like fairy wings
