The wind part of the time just flatten this butterfly against the flowers...it seemed to me that the shorter milkweed plants were not quite as bad as the others. Or if the butterflies hung on the bottom of the flower, the wind did not seem to hender them quite as much.
This poor butterfly has seen better days, but he is still a beauty.

Gorgeous, Rose... I don't know my butterflies... I saw a pretty one today--but didn't have my camera... AND--I have no idea what it was...
