Almost since the beginning of the Barn Charm meme, I have meant to share these photos, but either I have a recent photo I want to share, or else I forget about these. We were coming home from Shipshewana, a different route to the one taken to get there, and this place came into view.

I still do not know the real history of the place....read
here to find what I wrote about it back then. These photos are at the bottom of the page, but both posts are about it as they belong together...they are part of the same property.

Wouldn't this make a fine barn to fix up and live in??? I would love to have had a look around inside this place and to have had someone tell me the history of it all.
So at last, here it is....as my entry for Tricia's Barn Charm.

almost looks like the small original barn was there first, then they built 'the momma barn' to connect to it. it's a great-looking place! love the curvature of the roofs!
This is a beautiful barn complex. It would be wonderful if you could get inside. I would love to see the interior.
Wow, that is quite come group of farm buildings. Beautiful style.
Now that is a barn! It's huge! I wonder what kind of barn it is and if it is still used for "barn" purposes...could be a milking barn considering the length of it. Very impressive, that's for sure.
Nice photos, too!
Huge and very unique. I love the design.
That is a valuable structure...and it was when it was first built, too! Amazing! The design and size are mind-boggling.
That is a fabulous barn that's so big and unusual in every aspect. A fine one to locate and shoot. I'm glad you're sharing it with now. This is one of the best I'll seen in a long time.
What a beautiful place. I would like to know the entire history too. I wonder what it looks like inside too. Is it still being used? Neat shots. MB
Such a gorgeous well maintained Barn complex. I also would love a peek inside.
They're brick... WoW... Expensive... beautiful, too! I love the rounded roofs... a lil work needed, but YES, they could definitely be fixed up & lived in! That would be awesome!!!
Thanks, Rose... you always find such cool places in your neck of the woods!!! =)
This barn complex is amazing. If you ever get inside, you will have to share what you find with all of us. The large structure is so interesting....absolutely beautiful. At one time is must have been a very large farm. Beautiful photography.
I can see myself live in here. Very fancy one. Happy Tuesday!

What an awe-inspiring structure, Elaine. I so agree it should be restored. Just wonderful! :)
That's a fantastic barn! It obviously was built by a prosperous farmer, and it would indeed be a wonderful prospect for a house renovation.
Wow - that's a lot of barn and a lot of charm!
I'd like to see inside to see how that much barn is utilized.
It would make a HUGE house, too big for me, I think. But the building is fabulous. I LOVE it!
I don't know how you find so many beautiful barns! This is huge and gorgeous!
